Time has flown since we launched human+ back in late February of this year. We’ve been busy rolling out our new RPA services to a range of government and Not-for-Profit customers, including leading universities and NHS trusts. Amongst other updates, I was delighted for the business when we were included in the UK Government’s G-Cloud marketplace, and we also released our guide to Robotic Process Automation, which you can check out here.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be asked to contribute to the RPA media conversation in a few publications recently too. If you’ve got an interest in why human skills will remain essential in the AI workplace of the future, how we manage the ethical side of new technologies, or the benefits on offer to local government from RPA and charities, these pieces might be up your street.
In wider news, a big congratulations to Neal Gandhi and Oliver Rigby from our parent company The Panoply, who won the Team of the Year Award at the Enterprise Business Awards in July.
It’s not just the B-word which is causing uncertainty in the UK tech industry at the moment. The House of Commons’ Science and Technology Committee’s report into Digital Government is an interesting read and shows how factors like the NHS WannaCry hack of 2017 and legacy technology are still impacting the adoption of new tech. I doubt the coming months will be much calmer, but we’ll do our best to meet the challenge head on.
